About
I work at the intersection of art, design and technology.
My practice is driven by curiosity about the world around us - how technology shapes the way we live, interact and understand society, and how design can help us question and reimagine it.
I use design as a way of exploring ideas. Sometimes that means solving a practical problem. Other times it means building something strange, speculative or deliberately unnecessary simply to ask: What if we did things differently?
Technology plays an important role in this. I like understanding how things work, taking them apart and learning enough to build with them myself. Code, electronics, digital fabrication and emerging technologies become materials for experimentation, much like more traditional design tools.
My work moves somewhere between design, art and research. I build objects, experiments and experiences that make ideas tangible - whether they are useful, playful, provocative or simply a different way of looking at something familiar.
Ultimately, I am interested in using design and technology not just to make new things, but to explore how things could be different.
